Naruto (Overview)

Another of my favourite mangas…rather this is the manga series with which I started my manga obsession. Once again, like Bleach, I will start posting from the latest chapter mainly owing to the lack of time and also it would take a loooooong time to make up for the backlog.

Unless you just learned what ‘anime’ means a few days back, you’d probably have atleast heard of Naruto. In case you don’t read the rest of the article.

Naruto is a manga series written by Masashi Kishimoto which revolves around 13 year old Uzumaki Naruto who wants to become the Hokage(highest rank a ninja can obtain) of his village Kononhagakure. Now, long time ago a giant nine-tailed fox , the Kyuubi(nine tails) had attacked Konoha village. It was defeated by the protector of the village, the Fourth Hokage who gave his life to get rid of the Kyuubi. He used a sealing technique(Fuuinjutsu) called “Hakke no Fuuin Shiki”(Eight divination signs seal style) to seal the evil Kyuubi in a newborn baby who was none other than Naruto. Naruto grew up to despised by the villagers because they considered him to be re-incarnation of the demonic Kyuubi itself. Later on, Naruto is finally accepted into society under circumstances(read from the first chapter ) and continues to pursue his goal of becoming the Hokage.
