Naruto: Shippuden - Episode 001 - 002

Yes it’s here. No I’m not joking. After about 80 odd episodes of horrendous fillers, the plot finally reverts back to the manga storyline. Shippuden is born!

Firstly, when I was desperately waiting for Dattebayo to finish subbing the episode, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw ‘Naruto Hurricane Chronicle Episode 001(XVid) avi’ on the Scarywater tracker……BY SD PROJECT!!!! That’s right folks, SD Project will be subbing Shippuden from now on and they seem to be doing it faster than even Dattebayo with their super-release speed ^_^

On the 26th of March when my ICSE exams end. For all non-Indians visiting this blog, it’s the final examinations for Standard X students under the ICSE board. So see ya on 26th ^_^

Full Metal Alchemist

Full Metal Alchemist(Hagane no Renkinjutsushi) is an ongoing manga series written by Hiromu Arakawa which is published every month in the Monthly Shonen Gangan. Both the anime and manga have been major successes in Japan(though the anime later deviates from the main storyline).

Full Metal Alchemist is set in the fictional world of Amestris where the scientific use of alchemy is widespread. It goes a step further than the definition of alchemy we’re familiar with. In this world, alchemy is widely used for transmuting matter from one form to another through the use of transmutation circles and is not limited to the transmutation of any metal into gold. The underlying principal in alchemy here is the Principle of Equivalent Trade which is “in order to gain something, it is imperetive to produce something of equal value”

The story revolves around two boys, Edward and Alphonse Elric who embark on a journey to obtain the mystical Philosopher’s Stone which is said to make transmutations possible free from the restriction the underlying Principle of Equivalent Trade.

If you’re a fan of the FMA anime then it is recommended that you read Arakawa-sensei’s original work since the manga is much better than the anime(which soon deviates from the manga storyline).

Shikamaru continues to amaze us again and again with his new techniques, though I had already guessed that he wouldn’t die so easily. That too, he was the one who figured out Hidan’s technique and as if he’d fall for Hidan’s religious ceremony thingy after watching Asuma getting killed by it.

And Kazuzu having five hearts is just…weird XD

Naruto (Overview)

Another of my favourite mangas…rather this is the manga series with which I started my manga obsession. Once again, like Bleach, I will start posting from the latest chapter mainly owing to the lack of time and also it would take a loooooong time to make up for the backlog.

Unless you just learned what ‘anime’ means a few days back, you’d probably have atleast heard of Naruto. In case you don’t read the rest of the article.

Bleach Chapter 257

Anyways Ishida continues fighting against Arrancar no. 105(fallen Espada), Chiruchi who uses highly vibrating ‘feathers’ for battle and a surprise waiting towards the end of this chapter is when Ishida draws out a sword and slashes one of those feathers in half (x.x). Pesshe is hilarious as usual in this chapter, but oh man, I really wish that they’d start fighting the REAL espadas soon…I mean this is really getting lame, waiting one week for a filler-style battle. Anyways, let’s all have faith in Kubo-sensei ^_^

Ooooh I’m in such a bad mood today I could use Pesshe’s Infinite Slick on a certain person…..-_-#

Bleach (Overview)

Was this really necessary? Lol.

I think almost everybody reading this post will know what Bleach is. But just in case you don’t know, Bleach is about 15 year old Kurosaki Ichigo whose life takes a turn when he encounters a shinigami(=soul reaper, lit. god of death) by the name of Kuchiki Rukia. Ichigo is bestowed with shinigami powers and has to know fulfil the role of shinigami, to send good spirits to heaven and destroy the evil spirits or Hollows.

Sadly I won’t be writing the summaries of the previous chapters and will be starting with chapter 257(latest) mainly because of the lack of time due to my upcoming final exams. Really sorry about this guys (TT_TT). In case you’re new and have no idea what Bleach is about, you can download high-quality manga scanlations from www.bleach7.com . I’ll get the 257th chapter summary as soon as possible, most probably by tomorrow ^_^
